Present Perfect Workshop:
"It is wonderful to connect with other women-hear where they’re coming from and where they’re going. I helped me to focus on my own situation in a slightly different way and now I feel more equipped to move forward." JM
"My “aha” moment was identifying so easily with my feelings as I had not been able to do before. I also recognized how far I have come until now." ST

Speech given at Orleans Chamber of Commerce:
Joan gave our forty guests a 20 minute discussion on how most of us set New Year’s Resolutions but fail to accomplish them. Using the hit TV game show as an example of how contestants start with a goal in mind, get distracted, change their mind, bend to outside pressure and lose their focus. They begin to second guess themselves, get stressed and end up with an entirely different and often unsatisfying result! Joan compared that to real life and how many of us set goals, but too easily get distracted and lose focus.
Joan presented her material in a clear manner that was well received by those in attendance.

Life in Bits and Bites Lunch Group
Joan: I really enjoyed the lunch session. Everybody had a chance to share their thoughts, concerns, philosophies and emotions about different subjects, especially communication and relationships. I believe that the lunch sessions are a good venue for small groups and enable the attendants to share good moments and get to know the other people in the group in a relaxed, intimate and confidential setting.Thank you for inviting me. AP
I just wanted to thank you for facilitating such an excellent lunch discussion last Friday. I really walked away feeling energized. It was amazing how I could relate to other people's seemingly different situations and translate those into something positive for my life. The lunch was delicious! I'd really like to attend another one in the future.
Also, thanks for being so understanding and supportive about the fertility issues I'm dealing with. It really means a lot to know I can call on you if I need to vent! AS
" I have had the opportunity to attend Joan's "Life in Bits and Bites Lunch" on a couple occasions now. The one we had for "Just Men" was interesting. The topic was "What it is to be a Man". I found that others were experiencing some of the same thoughts and experiences I was having...I just did not realize it. It's good to know that I'm not ab-normal or maybe we are are all equally ab-normal and just don't realize it."
Thanks for everything Joan. Shane Silva
